Tooth whitening procedures and techniques have dramatically evolved over the years. Our office offers two different methods of whitening.

ZOOM! In-Office Whitening System - 1 Hour:

The ZOOM! In-Office Whitening System is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. This system is the most effective system ever developed. Dr. Rehorn and staff will evaluate whether you are a candidate by checking the present shade of your teeth against a scale, and the general condition of your teeth and gums. Best results are obtained by first having a thorough dental prophylaxis (cleaning) by a professional hygienist or dentist.

The ZOOM! Whitening procedure is safe, simple and painless. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums; the ZOOM! whitening clinician then applies the ZOOM! Whitening gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometime more. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You will be amazed with the results. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.

Take Home Whitening - 3 to 4 weeks:

Home whitening is also safe and painless, but takes longer to achieve the same results at the office procedure. We will fabricate comfortable custom trays for your upper and lower teeth along with the bleaching gel. The recommended time for wearing the trays is 2 to 4 hours per day, or overnight, for 3 to 4 weeks. Results depend on how frequently you wear the trays.
